Bee Presentations!

On Wednesday, May 23, 2013 all of the fifth grade students were treated to four wonderful presentations about bees.  After studying the importance of pollination in the life cycle of our Wisconsin Fast Plants, the students learned how honeybees pollinate fruits, how people can make money from raising honeybees, they viewed a live observation hive, and made lip balm out of bees wax.  It was a "BEE"-utiful day!!

Mr. Robison talks about raising bees as a hobby!

Mr. Bradshaw talks about the importance of pollination.

Portfolio Day!

It is hard to believe the end of the school year is just around the corner.  Team Nautilus spent some quality time with family members and friends as they reflected on their three favorite pieces of work from this school year.  From nutrition commercials that were written and performed in health class to Native American homes that were constructed for Social Studies class, there were many wonderful exhibits to share.  While eating a few cookies and reminiscing about a fantastic school year, Team Nautilus made many special memories.

Thanks for all of the smiles!
